Keep your eye on this sub-forum as we will be publishing all the new PEC events, starting in 2010, including the rules - shortly.

But first I need to go learn some more from the guys in Toronto, in July.

Good Idea Jan, so after the APC in November, what plans do you have for the Div3? I take it this will remain as Group C class, where will we race?

Melbourne
Sydney
Gold Coast
Adelaide
Wellington
?????????? :wavey[1]:

Tell us your thoughts on this:poke:

What will Div class and Div1 class be?

Div2 LMP2?
Div1 LMP1?

We need to have a GT class also as seen at Toronto???? Support race like we do with the Qld Champs, GT3 supports CanAm. :dancedance:

:konservativ_woot: but I also would love to race against the European guys, lets get them to come to Aussie!!! Also how about a trans Tasman event, I know Tim and the guys in Wellington would host it and I for one would travel there:coke:

I would love to come Austalia for some racing :autofahrer[1]:
It would be a nice holiday as well :dancedance:
Maybe 2010/11
If we start planning it for 2011 now, people can start saving money

Borge,

That will be so awesome to have a 'World champion' race with us. :worshippy::worshippy:

A good event will be the PanPacific championships of which we have two events per year. The first is in Japan (2010 in Tokyo) around March/April and the second is in Australia around October/November.:lightbulb::popcorn:

Currently we have 5 or 6 guys travelling to Japan (I hope to get Timmyyyyyy!!! to join us next year) and we are expecting 5 or 6 Japanese racers in Aussie (including Kudo and Suzuki - they TQ'ed at the DPM in 2006 (?))

Of course the other would be one of our PEC events, we'll get you teamed up with some good drivers and make sure you have a competitive car to. No doubt you'll make it even faster doing your magic.........

So put it in you annual planning, we'll talk about it more in Trier, unless I see you before that somewhere........:beer::beer:

Cheers

Paul,

Division 2 and Division 1 will be as per the rules that will be run in the America's (Division 2) and is currently run by the OEPS and WEC (Division 1)..... Just check those out elsewhere on this forum.

This will be your chance to run some of those beautiful bodies that Al, Erlo, Nick and Fola are making.....:worshippy::uglyhammer_2::bouncy:

At our PEC events in 2010 we will have a support race, perhaps we can discuss this in a seperate thread and get some input from the other guys :poke::lightbulb: I'm sure we could easily use one of the other classes we are already running?????????

The venues for our 2010 PEC events will be finalised before the 1st of January 2010 - at least one will be in Melbourne at MR. and another will be at Hornsby. We have a choice of two tracks at each of these venues, so the support race and the enduro could even get run on two different tracks.........time will tell.

Cheers

Hey Jan,

Give us some more details on the Japan trip next year. Either here, for all to see, or via email.. :nice: Things like costs, flights, and so on. Also, you trip over here often, what are we looking at for flights to you and back approx?

regards

Al,

Aussie/RSA is in the region of AUD2500/R20000 return, Aussie/Japan is in the region of AUD2000/R16000 return. I'm sure you'll get a good idea from a few of the 'cheap flights' websites. Accomodation is expensive - on par with Europe. Transport is also rather steep.:BangHead::toilet:

Your best bet will be to come race down under with us in October/November. At least we can help you out with some of the expenses..........:nice::hey:

Cheers

Jan
