Hi guys,

The entries for the Pacific Endurance Championship for 2010 will OPEN on the 26th of February and wil CLOSE on the 26th of April 2010.

The entry fee will be AUD90.00 per team. This entry fee will be payable to Mobile Raceways before the event start. It will include the cost of two handout Plafit Fox 2 motors.

Please send an email to our official PEC email address pecinaus@gmail.com and an entry form will be sent to you which you can then complete and forward to Peter at Mobile Raceways. Once your entry has been accepted, your team will be added to the official entry list. This list will be published on this forum with a link to it from the Mobile Raceway and Auslot forums.:nice:

Please enter early as we will not be able to accomodate more teams than can be handled to at least produce a 3 hour event as per the rules. That is probably no more than 32 teams.:hey: Should anyone require the proposed time schedules that will be used, depending on the number of entries - again, please send a request to our email address. Suffice to say, the event will start on the 1st of May and will not finish later than 16h00 on the 2nd of May.

This promises to be the biggest 1/24th Scale Model Car Endurance race in the Pacific region during 2010. Entries are open to anyone in the world who would like to participate - but more specifically to our Japanese and Kiwi friends that would like to show off their abilities against the Aussies.

Jan, I hope you get a great entry and a really good race. I wish I could be there, but alas my economy this year is under preasure so no family holiday down under this year. However I hope to make it in the next couple of years, and it would be so great to come and meet some of the "local" slot nutters!

There is less than a week to go before entries will close for the first PEC.:wavey[1]: Unless at least 16 teams are entered, the viability and purpose of this event will be in serious doubt.:popcorn:

I realise that the economic situation is not good for many of our racers, but surely we all want this to be a showcase of Australian model car racing at a world level?:banana::autofahrer[1]::nice:
