Hey guys,

as you may notice on my Picasa I'm building again, on building 3 additional Kimmy chassis besides my own Audi.
Mark and Borge are amongst the teams that ordered a RTR car for CPH and all parts started to arrive this week so I started...

Nick,

You don't have to start on mine yet - it is still a while before Trier.:uglyhammer_2: Anyway let's first see if Borge's work well under the Aston.:poke:

Cheers

Hey guys,

as usual, click my signature to see more of my cars in progress.

Here's the current status for CPH. I'm getting more and more familiar with my Kimmy chassis and get quicker putting one together every time I do it. The very first Audi chassis took about 40 to 50 hours just to put toghter, that was a tough delivery believe me ;)

So status of the track is that it is built, wired and ready for a thorough cleanup. This will happen over the next couple of days, and the track will then be tested for grip etc. next week.

Club RaceFun will run a club race monday evening and we will make a review after that.

The facilities at RaceFun is second to none, there are sepperate power supplies for each lane, there is the fenomenal LapMaster timing system, that will make Race Directions lives so much easier.

See you all next week.

Another small update on my picasa.

http://picasaweb.google.no/Zevon99/OEPS#

The chassis was married to the body last night and got the first spin on the Badet track. Did 6.00 straight from "the box", after some tuning we got it down to the high 5,6. That’s not bad on a quite slippery track. We will do some more work today and hope to find 1,5 tenths more :autofahrer[1]:

This will of course all change when we get to CPH, but at least we are building some understanding of the first Slotline chassis seen in Norway.

C U all soon in CPH!!

Last update on my picasa before CPH:
http://picasaweb.google.no/Zevon99/OEPS#

Got the last parts on the car and did a good test round last night. We were able to get two more tents’ out of the Slotline chassis. It was consistent in the 5.5’s when we packed it in last night, which we was really happy with. Roy has spent +10 hours working on the chassis since he started to assemble it on Monday. We would of course have liked to have way more time before the race, but as you all know getting things ready weeks before the race is not the slot racing way...

We will now go to CPH with one body on a Slotline chassis and one with a Julia chassis. They are pretty much the same on the Badet track. Which one we use in CPH we will find out during free practice :)

Looking forward to see you all in a few days time :uglyhammer_2:
