Hello,

I can't remember what is the length (can side) of motor axle in handout PS Euros.

This dimension is very critical for the other finnish team (LemUA Racing). I saw their car yesterday and noticed they have used motor with very long axle. Could you please answer asap.

Regards
Kai

hello Kai,

Here are 2 pics, the first is a pic of the handout motor for Trier, I received all 80 of them last week in bright and shiny condition, many thanks to Dan Debella :dancedance:

On the second pic you'll see how wide the pignon is. I will put on the pignons on the outer point of the motoraxle, so as far out as possible. Teams are allowed to push the pignon a bit further on the axle if they please, but are NOT allow to CHANGE pignons.

This is the motor that HT_ Motor racing sells as the sc 0012
it has different openings as the version that Mark has on show..... is it "Legal" and "correct" ??

Fola

Hi Fola,

No, this motor does not appear to be correct. The SC-0012 number is correct however I notice that the label describes the torque as 200 g/cm. I can not answer about this difference ??? Older stock ???

The SC-0012 handout motor for the Sprint Championship in Trier is shown here.

All 150 race motors have just been received directly from Scaleauto. They are all of the same batch production numbers and they will be shipping in the next week to Martin Bartelmes along with all the SC Procomp3 handout tires.

I posted a comment on the Rule Set, and again to remind everyone, that the grey motor that comes in the SC RTR Porsche White Kits and the RTR Flying Lizard cars is the SC-0012 Yellow can motor shown above. For some reason SC decided not to paint the motor yellow in these kits or it was a production oversight at the time.

Only 4 weeks to Jet time . . . see you soon.

Mark and Fola,

I must say, all this is rather confusing as all the SC-12 motors I've ever seen definately look like the one Fola has. This new SC-0012 is s surprise, perhaps that is why it feels so much more frisky than the 'old' one. I prefer the feel of the 'old' motor for sure.:BangHead:

Cheers
